J. Jones Construction and Welding, Inc played a key role in creating the Guinness World Record Clippers – the largest operational clippers in the world.
The company was contracted to build the clippers, which were later seen on the television show BIG! Television, aired on the Discovery Channel. The clippers were attached to a backhoe and used to trim citrus trees to test their operational capacity. Measuring 16 ft 0.5 in (4.88 m) long, 4 ft 6 in (1.36 m) wide, and 3 ft 1.75 in (95 cm) tall, the clippers were an impressive feat of engineering. J. Jones Construction and Welding, Inc
was able to leverage their extensive experience in welding and fabrication to build these giant clippers to exacting specifications.
To ensure that the clippers were not only functional but also visually striking, they were hand-polished by Mastercraft Metal Polishing. Today, the Guinness World Record Clippers hang from the ceiling of a production lounge as a testament to the skill and expertise of J. Jones Construction and Welding, Inc .
